What is $tart $mart?$tart $mart is a workshop created and maintained by AAUW that teaches young women on college campuses across the country how to negotiate an appropriate and fair salary based on their job, location and experience. The workshop is roughly three hours long and accommodates about thirty women comfortably and up to ten training facilitators. Penn State is the recipient of a three year license that allows any facilitator affiliated with Penn State to offer the workshop as many times as they'd like free of charge. In order to offer this workshop to any student on campus, you must first become a facilitator.
